LEGO Group's inaugural LEGO® Play Festival, hosted in collaboration with UCCA Lab and Qiantan Taikoo Li, features six themed spaces designed to inspire children to explore diverse identities and ignite creativity through hands-on play. With contributions from seven artists and partners like LEGO® Certified Professional Weiwei Hou and Studio NOWHERE, the festival combines interactive installations and artistic co-creation to deliver a summer of imaginative learning and fun.
Dialogue with Shi Yong’s Globalization installation through a series of physical symbols such as collaboration, confrontation, ambiguity, and rupture.
The performance seeks to challenge established codes of social behavior, exploring the different identities that exist within the same body.
